9 September 2025, Prof. Wee Cheah from Institute of Ocean and Earth Sciences(IOES), Universiti of Malaya gave lectures featured comprehensive training in statistical analysis techniques including EOF decomposition and trend analysis. He shared knowledge about advanced data analysis and proposal refinement, providing trainees with computational tools and research methodologies. All trainees gained hands-on experience in visualizing satellite and model data using the Julia programming language, enhancing their capabilities in handling large-scale oceanographic datasets.
